Terms of Service
Effective date: November 6, 2026 · SF Product Labs LLC
Welcome to EvilPet. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EvilPet
autonomous security assessment service at evilpet.app (the "Service"), operated by
SF Product Labs LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service,
you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
EvilPet performs autonomous security assessments ("assess"), penetration tests ("penetrate"), and code reviews of public GitHub repositories on targets you submit. Results are provided as evidence-backed reports. The Service is a tool to support your own security work; it is not a substitute for professional judgment.
2. Accounts and authorization
- You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your access credentials secure.
- By submitting a domain, you represent that you own it or are authorized to run security tests against it. You agree to scan only targets you are authorized to test.
- Accounts use passwordless email login. Do not share access to your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) scan targets you are not authorized to test; (b) launch unauthorized attacks, malware, or denial-of-service against third parties; (c) infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; (d) violate applicable law (including computer-misuse and anti-authorization statutes); or (e) interfere with the Service or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.
4. Scan scope and limitations
Assessments are performed within configured scope, subdomain, and runtime limits for your tier. Results reflect the state of the target at the time of the scan and the tools and techniques used. No security assessment can guarantee the absence of vulnerabilities. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on the results.
5. Fees, billing, and credits
- Pricing, tiers, and the free first-scan offer are described on our pricing page and may change over time.
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.
- Per-scan credits are one-time purchases. Unused credits may expire as described at purchase.
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Stripe's terms apply to the payment relationship.
6. Public repositories
Scans of public GitHub repositories are shared per the Service's public-repo model: findings for a public repository may be visible to other users who request that repository, and code fixes may be submitted as pull requests. By requesting a public repository scan, you consent to this sharing.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, tooling, and report formats, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Reports generated for your targets may be used by you for your own purposes. We retain the right to use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the Service.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS ARE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SF PRODUCT LABS LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100), IF GREATER.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SF Product Labs LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Service in violation of law or the rights of others.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or as required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
12. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service and update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the changes.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.
